Lorie and James Smyth, pilots from Sacramento, joined us for a busy weekend of flying at Kealakekua. Saturday we saw James, Moku, Scotty, Noah, Charlie, Neil, Lorie, and Gene all take to the air. Conditions sported a cloud in the valley threatening to rain and spitting from time to time.

Neil got high enough (3,300) to fly to the beach and take pictures of the Pali. Saturday, Lorie beat Governor Lingle’s helicopter for an arial inspection of damage to the Pali from the Sunday morning earthquake.
